Aging

60

90 I have been putting together a digital slide show of the 90 years of my moms life. Its been very interesting seeing her aging process by flicking thru 100 pictures. Our bodies really do reach their peak by about 20 yrs. and then deterioration sets in. I read today that the baby boomers want to "die young late in life". We are obsessed with keeping young...but does that make us any wiser, any happier, any nicer?? I think of Mom as being contented with her life.
I remember looking at the brown spots on Mom's hands and thinking they were so gross. Now I have them and more. Its good to age gracefully. . . . or disgracefully!!

I read once where you reach your peak at 12 years of age and go downhill from there.
What a beautiful woman your mother is. No use being stressed about aging otherwise you will turn out like Michael Jackson and have your nose popping off and be in dark glasses permanently. JJ.

I think the life cycle is all backwards, you should start out dead and thus get it out of the way. Then, you wake up in an old folks home, feeling better every day. You get kicked out for being too healthy; go collect your pension, then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work 40 years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You drink alcohol, you party, you're generally promiscuous, you then get ready for University, then Secondary School. You go to Primary school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a baby, and then...

You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, in spa-like conditions, with central heating, room service on tap, larger quarters to live in every day, and then, you finish off as an orgasm!!
