Whale Rock

Sunday avo, Chantel and I went for a walk in the bush down behind our place to visit Whale Rock. I wanted to introduce her to the bush, so close at hand. Two steps in and you would never know you were in the middle of the city. Birds abound there, cockies, lorikeets, whip birds, and this time I saw a little tiny thornbill. It just FEELS GOOD!

Geoff is 40!

Geoff's birthday tonight was at a little cafe 'NEST' at Victoria rd Potts Point. Great food!! All the family there, as well as friends old and new. Nice to see Darren Evans,and Trish and Arch Gibbs from out of town. Quite a few babies there too.

I visited Yan to day. She is improving in leaps and bounds ~ recovering from her rare pnemonia. She is still weak but her creative spirit flows and she is such an inspiration. I feel so uplifted after a visit with her. We both enjoy just 'being' together. In her recovery therapy she has been knitting with fun varied colored yarns, leaving long tails with each new addition. so there are dozens of 8x8 squares with long colorful tails. today some of them were hanging along the balcony blowing in the breeze like prayer flags. I can just see them becoming some very creative things with bead embellishments etc.
I can't wait to get started on some new creations too.

It was fun to have brekky with Sharon at The Deck on Collaroy beach today. She sure has packed lots into her 10 day visit. Great for her to live life down under for a few days.
Yes, they do have jackets on, but by afternoon we were sweltering.
