Australia produces the neatest wild flowers! I just love the little yellow tips. They look like fibre optics with little lights at the tips. The gum nut babies wear them as skirts and caps!! I'm sure the fairies have a special use for them too!
we found a whole VILLAGE of fairies in the forest yesterday. there must have been 200 or more toadstools all growing up the bank, like a little hamlet overlooking the creek. we could see evidence of someone living there and a squirrel was admonishing us for getting too close. Annika decided he was their protector and she talked to the fairies and the squirrel for a very long time. too bad we didn't have our camera with us! lovely to see your fairy flowers too! xo
