A Lighthouse
I stand as a stalwart
A tower of strength
I stand as a beacon
Silent, day and night
I stand thru the storm
The waves of the sea
I stand
I stand alone

French Lighthouses
I had lots of neat lighthouses on my list of places to visit, and I didnt see any of them...but I'm glad for the ones I did get to see. There is only one that we went looking for...the others just happened along.
this little red hatted lighthouse is in the Honfleur harbour.
Le Hague at the 'top' of France was a destination.

World travellers
Blood Moon
We had a lunar eclipse on the full moon in Aug. Wish I would have seen it. This a a pretty neat multiple exposure over the carrillion on Lake Burley Griffen in Canberra.

..my favorite things....
We did a weeks road trip in Normandy France. There were 9 of us in 2 cars....we DID have fun.
one place we stayed in had fantastic gardens - thus the Japanese bridge.
I loved Monet's gardens at Giverny - inspiration for his paintings.
water lilies.
painted flower - don't you think God had fun creating all the different flowers??
cock a doodle do!!!

Cycling in France
Cycling in France is such a fun experience. There were 13 of us cycling - our guide took the picture. IF you want to see us, more than just our knees! you can click on the photo to make it bigger.
The Charente River was beautiful and varied.
Cheryl with the beautiful vineyard back drop.
This is one of the gorgeous old chateau or logis (farm house!) that we stayed in.
Lots of great old architecture to look at. I loved all the flowers
